Hello, I’m Zhana, the proud owner of Wild Mane Cats, a small, family-focused cattery located just outside of Sacramento, California. My journey into the world of Maine Coons began with my very first Maine Coon kitten, and from the moment I met this remarkable breed, I was completely captivated. Their striking appearance, gentle nature, and larger-than-life personalities made me fall in love with them instantly. As an avid animal lover, it’s truly been both a privilege and an honor to work with such an extraordinary breed. Our Kittens
We ensure that each of our kittens receives the best possible care from day one. Our kittens are vaccinated with two doses of FVRCP to protect them against common feline diseases. At 8 weeks of age, they undergo a thorough examination by a licensed veterinarian and will receive a health certificate confirming their well-being. Additionally, our kittens are dewormed and provided with flea and tick prevention to ensure they stay healthy and comfortable. Our Kings/Queens
We are committed to the health and well-being of our Maine Coons. All of our breeding males and females undergo genetic testing for over 50 health markers, including common conditions like HCM, SMA, and PKDef. To ensure a safe and healthy environment, we also regularly conduct PCR tests on all our cats, keeping our cattery free from parasites and respiratory infections.

We prioritize the health of our breeding cats and kittens. All of our breeding males and females undergo genetic testing for over 50 health markers, including those most common in Maine Coons such as HCM, SMA, and PKDef. In addition, we regularly conduct PCR tests on all our cats to ensure our cattery remains free from parasites and respiratory infections.
Our kittens are vaccinated with two doses of FVRCP and are thoroughly examined by a veterinarian at 8 weeks of age, at which time they will receive a health certificate. They are also dewormed and given flea and tick prevention to ensure they are in optimal health when they join their new families.
The price for our kittens is $4,200. To join the waitlist, a non-refundable deposit of $200 is required. Kittens are reserved at 8 weeks of age with a reservation fee of $1,000. The remaining balance of $3,000 is due within one week prior to the kitten’s pickup. Payments are accepted via Zelle.
Each kitten is individually assessed to determine their readiness to go to their new home. Typically, our kittens are ready for adoption between 12-14 weeks of age, ensuring they are well-socialized and healthy.
Each kitten will go home with a care package that includes a selection of kitten supplies and a carrier. Additionally, you will receive a Maine Coon kitten care guide to help you provide the best care for your new companion. All kittens are sent home with a complimentary one-month Trupanion health insurance policy.
For our out-of-state customers, we work with a professional pet nanny who can safely deliver your kitten to your nearest airport. You are also welcome to drive or fly to pick up your kitten in person. Please note that we do not sell kittens outside of the United States and Canada.
Our kittens are sold as pet-only companions. All kittens are sold unaltered, and we work with a reputable company called SpaySecure to ensure all kittens are spayed or neutered within the designated time frame. As part of the agreement, you will be required to sign a contract with SpaySecure and provide proof of the spay or neuter procedure once it is completed.
If your spot on the waitlist is reached but none of the available kittens feel like the right fit, you can choose to remain on the waitlist for the next litter. Your place will be preserved, and you will have the opportunity to select a kitten from future litters.
